2024 Barossa Arts Festival

Background

The bi-annual event, launched in 2022 with resounding success, is a partnership between local artists, industry partners, and the community. The aim is to provide a platform for artists to exhibit their work and collaborate with other artists, local businesses, and the public, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
Barossa Arts Festival founder and program director Karen Nickels believes the arts should be accessible and inclusive to all, regardless of age, ability, or culture. The Barossa Arts Festival strives to create opportunities for everyone to experience the joy of art and participate in various art practices.

It also seeks to increase tourism to the area by showcasing the unique beauty of the Barossa region and the diversity of its artistic community. The Festival to be held in April 2024 celebrates colour, creativity, and culture and will be a must-see event for locals and visitors alike.
