Background

The Seppeltsfield Road Business Alliance Inc. (SRBA) was formed to provide an opportunity for businesses and individuals located along Seppeltsfield Road to work together to promote this unique 10 km stretch of road within the Barossa Valley as well as increase visitation, network and foster community spirit.

We worked on a rebrand and marketing strategy on behalf of SRBA for Seppeltsfield Road and as part of this destination marketing project, we built a responsive search optimised website.

In 2022, the internet is the first encounter most people will have with a tourism destination. A website is a point of contact for visitors travelling to a region and is a vital tool in delivering current information, enabling bookings, educating and offering directions on activities and events. Not only have we introduced a responsive design that provides a user-friendly browsing experience, we have also covered 45 member businesses with individual pages that offer information, bookings and relevant image galleries. We wrote twelve, search optimised, consumer facing tourism blogs and built a members only area where members can log in and gain quick access to minutes, important information and also submit information for other members to use.

A mega-menu allows users to see multiple levels of subpages when hovering over a main menu item.

The four call-to-action sections of Wine, Dine, Play and Stay increase visitor engagement by directing them to the specific requirements in a visual format. There is a News Room for media requests as well as an Opt-in subscriber section to gain updates on pre-release sales of events and what’s happening along the Seppeltsfield Road.
